Mz. Rehab Lab does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease or medical conditions through its wellness services.

2. MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage therapy and bodywork are intended to support relaxation, general wellness, muscular comfort, mobility, and recovery.

Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their health history, medications, surgeries, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, and other conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate in massage or bodywork.

Mz. Rehab Lab reserves the right to modify, postpone, or decline a service when a client's condition, circumstances, or requested service may be inappropriate or unsafe.

3. POST-OPERATIVE & LYMPHATIC SERVICES

Post-Op Recovery & Lymphatic Massage is a wellness/bodywork service intended to complement, not replace, a client's post-operative care plan.

Clients recovering from surgery should follow all instructions provided by their surgeon and healthcare team.

Depending on the procedure and individual circumstances, medical clearance may be required before receiving post-operative bodywork.

Mz. Rehab Lab does not provide surgical aftercare, wound care, medical diagnosis, or treatment of surgical complications.

Clients should contact their surgeon or healthcare provider for symptoms such as significant or worsening swelling, severe pain, fever, redness, drainage, shortness of breath, chest pain, or other concerning symptoms.

Do not use massage or bodywork as a substitute for emergency or medical care.

4. CUPPING, HOT STONES & OTHER SPECIALTY MODALITIES

Specialty services—including cupping, hot stone massage, reflexology, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular techniques, hydrotherapy, and other modalities—may not be appropriate for every client.

Some services may result in temporary redness, soreness, tenderness, sensitivity, or marks on the skin.

Clients should disclose relevant health information before receiving specialty services.

Mz. Rehab Lab may decline or modify a modality when contraindications or safety concerns are identified.

5. PILATES & ASSISTED STRETCHING

Pilates, movement training, and assisted stretching are wellness and fitness services intended to support movement quality, strength, flexibility, mobility, balance, and body awareness.

Participation involves physical activity and carries inherent risks, including muscle soreness, strains, falls, or other injuries.

Clients should participate only within their individual abilities and communicate discomfort or limitations to the instructor.

Individuals with injuries, medical conditions, recent surgery, or other physical limitations should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning a new exercise or stretching program.

6. HEALTH & WELLNESS COACHING & EDUCATION

Health and wellness coaching and education are designed to provide general information, goal-setting support, accountability, and wellness education.

These services do not constitute medical care, psychotherapy, physical therapy, nutrition therapy, medical nutrition therapy, diagnosis, or treatment.

Educational information should not be interpreted as individualized medical advice.

Clients should consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional for individualized medical, nutritional, psychological, or therapeutic care.

7. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Clients are responsible for providing truthful and complete information relevant to their participation in Mz. Rehab Lab services.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Current or previous injuries
• Surgeries and procedures
• Medical conditions
• Medications
• Allergies
• Pregnancy
• Physical limitations
• Recent changes in health
• Healthcare provider recommendations

Clients should notify Mz. Rehab Lab of any change in health status that may affect participation.

8. EMERGENCIES

Mz. Rehab Lab services are not emergency medical services.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.

Do not wait for a response from Mz. Rehab Lab before seeking emergency care.

Mz. Rehab Lab does not guarantee specific therapeutic, physical, aesthetic, performance, or wellness outcomes.
